Bryan R. Wilt

Chief Fiscal Officer

Bryan WiltAIDS United’s Chief Fiscal Officer Bryan R. Wilt’s has an almost unbelievable dedication and commitment to AIDS United. Not only has he been with the organization the longest of any AIDS United staffer (since 2001), but, as a Pennsylvania resident, his drive time to the office is roughly 2 hours each way!

Wilt became connected to HIV/AIDS work when he worked for the Greater Harrisburg Foundation in Harrisburg PA, which housed the Harrisburg AIDS Partnership, a Community Partnership of the then-National AIDS Fund (now AIDS United.)

“There is a tremendous value in this work,” Wilt says. “And I feel fortunate to be working with an outstanding team of highly intelligent and committed staff members who are singularly focused on our mission to end HIV in America.”

Wilt has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and 25 years of experience in the areas of accounting, investment and fiscal management. His experience crosses numerous sectors including private business, non-profit agencies, foundations and national non-profit organizations. Since joining AIDS United, Wilt has strengthened the fiscal systems by implementing integrated, cross-departmental database software and has worked with the organization’s CEOs to reach an administrative cost rate well below 10 percent.

When he is not at AIDS United (or driving to and from work!), Wilt devotes his time to improving K-6 educational outcomes as a member on his local school board.

Wilt remains so dedicated to AIDS United because he is committed to the organization’s work.

“I feel extremely connected to the value of my work in addressing health and social justice issues with the goal of ending the HIV/AIDS epidemic domestically.”
