Call Your Senators and Representative!!!!

CALL Both of Your Senators and

Your House of Representatives Member

As we commemorate World AIDS Day we need to remind Congress that Ending Sequestration is the only way to continue our work toward Ending AIDS

We need you to call your 2 Senators and your House of Representatives Member between now and December 11th to ask them to End Sequestration with a balanced approach. AIDS United has heard from numerous partners that sequestration is having a devastating impact on HIV/AIDS programs on the ground. If sequestration is allowed to continue in Fiscal Year 2014 the increasing burden from additional cuts would impede our collective efforts to curb the HIV epidemic and end AIDS in the near future. Please call your Senators and Member of the House today, 12/6; next week Monday, 12/9; Tuesday, 12/10, or Wednesday, 12/11 and ask them to:

ACT NOW TO END SEQUESTRATION FOR FY 2014

ACT NOW TO PREVENT FURTHER CUTS TO

DOMESTIC HIV/AIDS PROGRAMS

Call your Senators and Representative: Tell them to end sequestration and stop further cuts to domestic HIV/AIDS programs.

Suggested message when you call:

As your constituent, I want you to act NOW to end sequestration in Fiscal Year 2014. Congress should focus its efforts on ending the senseless funding cuts through sequestration and ensure all of our nation's public health agencies and programs are adequately funded. Please vote to restore funding for all of the services that HIV positive families count on and to protect Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and food stamps. As we commemorate World AIDS Day 2013 we must secure adequate funding to enable us to reach an AIDS Free Generation.
