Community Restructuring Investments Program RFP 2013
FUNDING OPPORTUNITY: COMMUNITY RESTRUCTURING INVESTMENTS PROGRAM
DEADLINE TO APPLY: WEDNESDAY MAY 10, 2013, AT 11:59 EASTERN TIME
AIDS United is pleased to announce funding to support Community Partnerships located throughout the United States. Investments will support selected Community Partnerships in the process of community transformation as they face changes to the HIV/AIDS field with the approaching Affordable Care Act implementation in 2014 in local communities. AIDS United will award grants of up to $25,000 each by June 30 for the term of one year (July 1, 2013 – June 30, 2014).
Current and former AIDS United/National AIDS Fund Community Partnerships are eligible.
The Community Restructuring Investment Program is intended to prime AIDS United’s Community Partnerships for community transformation. Through cash grants and/or specialized technical assistance, Community Partnerships will be able to assess their community’s needs in response to changes in the HIV/AIDS landscape (the Affordable Care Act in 2014, for example), and begin the process of community restructuring in order to determine an optimal service delivery model. This could range from community-wide stakeholder meetings to facilitate dialogue, to coordinating services among local organizations (AIDS Service Organizations and Community Health Centers, for example), or to facilitating more in-depth coordination, such as mergers.
