AIDS United, in collaboration with the HRSA HIV/AIDS Bureau's Special Projects of National Significance (SPNS) and Boston University's School of Public Health, is pleased to offer the following opportunity to secure a funding award under a new initiative called Dissemination of Evidence-Informed Interventions.
Under this initiative, we are releasing this RFP for the Integrating Buprenorphine Treatment for Opioid Use Disorder in HIV Primary Care intervention. This intervention will replicate and adapt a prior SPNS initiative that focuses on using Buprenorphine in HIV-primary care settings to decrease opiod use, increase medication adherence, and improve the quality of life for people living with HIV. Three Ryan White-Funded Medical Providers across the country will be awarded $200,000 - $300,000 annually to implement this 3-year program.
Completed proposals are due by 5pm ET, May 3, 2016 through the AIDS United Foundation Connect portal.
An optional webinar was held to provide clarification about the funding opportunity, overview the application and submission process, and answer any questions. View the recording here.
The RFP, including eligibility criteria, enrollment targets, and required reading on the intervention model, is available here. Questions about this funding opportunity should be directed to: Marlene Clarke or Erin Nortrup.
