Crispin Torres is an activist, creative, and social entrepreneur born in Mexico City, Mexico and based in Chicago. He brings over thirteen years of experience in LGBTQI and HIV law and policy, organizational development, and community leadership in the transgender rights movement. He previously served as Manager of Policy and Advocacy at Howard Brown Health--the Midwest’s largest LGBTQ health system--where he spearheaded their inaugural policy program under The Center for Education, Research, and Advocacy. Prior to that, he worked at Lambda Legal, as their Midwest Regional Community Educator where he managed campaign development, resource allocation and capacity building across ten states.
