Amelia Korangy, MSW

Senior Manager | ViiV Healthcare | Washington, D.C.

Amelia is a Senior Manager at ViiV Healthcare where she leads the company’s Positive Action community giving programs in the US. Her focus is on national initiatives that drive new insights, connection and impact for people living with HIV, as well as initiatives focused on closing gaps in care in the Southern US and for cis-and-trans women of color. In this role, she leads grantmaking, convening and technical assistance efforts across portfolios and works to amplify bright spots in the HIV movement through strategic and creative communications.

Amelia started her career working alongside young people who were homeless, spent time movement building to end child sexual abuse at the Ms. Foundation for Women, and worked as a senior philanthropic advisor and capacity builder at TCC Group. She’s a trained social worker, with a graduate degree in Social Enterprise from Columbia University and a bachelor’s in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Funders Concerned About AIDS and lives in Washington DC.
