Gail T. Crockett is a Supply Chain, Procurement and Program Management advisor with leadership experience at some of the world’s largest companies.

Ms. Crockett joined McDonald’s in 2002 and was most recently Director of Strategic Supply in US Supply Chain Management. In this role, Gail was responsible for strategic sourcing of the potato, oil, and bakery items for the 14,000+ restaurants of McDonald’s USA. As Director, she managed over $2 Billion in annual spending and 20 plus supplier relationships. Ms. Crockett was also one of the leaders of the U.S. Supplier Diversity & Inclusion program.

Prior roles include: Director of New Products in Supply Chain, where she led supplier selection and execution new product tests and national product launches. Director of Business Integration; in this role she was responsible for leading cross-functional project teams as they developed strategy and deployment plans for key business-driving initiatives such as McCafe. As Director, Supply Chain Services, Ms. Crockett led strategic sourcing for packaging and the development and execution of popular promotions such as Monopoly. Additionally, Ms. Crockett is the former co-chair of the McDonald’s home office Women’s Leadership Network.

Prior to joining McDonald’s, Gail served in a Regional Operations role with YUM Brands (formerly Pepsico) where she contributed in Finance and Operations functions. Prior to YUM, she specialized as a manufacturing manager and as a facilities and environmental engineer in packaging manufacturing.

A native of Chicago with a BS in Chemical Engineering from Texas Tech University, Gail completed her MBA at the J.L. Kellogg school of Management (Northwestern University) while managing a union drive that was sparked by the impending sale of Mobil Chemical. Gail resides in Chicago with her husband, Roger. She is passionate about family, learning about and experiencing other cultures, global travel, and volunteering her time and expertise to benefit the community.
