What happens when project funding ends? Sustainability is the continuation of a project’s goals, principles, and efforts to achieve desired outcomes. Many organizations think of sustainability as finding the resources to continue a program “as is” beyond the grant period. However, sustainability can also mean finding ways for project goals to continue after the life of a grant or when existing funding ends.
