Founded as National AIDS Fund

Established to channel resources to communities on the front lines of the HIV/AIDS epidemic during the height of the crisis.

Expanded Grantmaking

Launched strategic grantmaking programs to support community-based organizations delivering HIV prevention and care.

Rebranded as AIDS United

Unified under a new name to reflect our broadened mission and commitment to ending the epidemic through policy and community investment.

Southern HIV Impact Fund

Launched our flagship grantmaking initiative, directing over $40M to the Deep South where HIV disproportionately impacts communities of color.
