AIDSWatch@Home: Advocacy where you are

AIDSWatch@Home supports state-based policy trainings and community advocacy institutes, grounded in the knowledge that state and local advocacy is a remarkably powerful and underutilized tool in the fight to end HIV.

Why state-level advocacy matters

The need for state-level advocacy has become more urgent as state legislatures have promoted policies to restrict LGBTQ+ rights and threaten progress toward ending the HIV epidemic. Simultaneously, federal programs and funding streams are being reduced or eliminated. These policy attacks take many forms, and our advocacy requires working across issue areas and uniting coalitions to protect our communities.

AIDSWatch@Home funds organizations to implement state-based advocacy events, equipping local advocates with the training, tools, and resources to make their voices heard where they live.
