AIDS United offers training, technical assistance, and organizational management tools that help community-based organizations do their most effective work to end the HIV epidemic.
What we do
We deliver customized and appropriate technical assistance to communities across the country, helping organizations adapt their plans to emerging situations, implement evidence-based interventions, and develop strong community engagement strategies.
Our team uses a continuous, consultative approach to identify, plan, implement, and evaluate every engagement. We support program improvements, detailed data collection, and evaluation of effectiveness, while staying in close communication and flexible to your needs from start to finish.
Organizations of all sizes across the U.S. and its territories: community coalitions, government agencies, harm reduction providers, educational institutions, community-based organizations, and Federally Qualified Health Centers.

As part of the CDC’s Capacity Building Provider Network, AIDS United delivers no-cost technical assistance nationally to directly and indirectly CDC-funded organizations, as well as state and local health departments.

Not funded by the CDC? AIDS United can still help. We offer technical expertise across a range of topics and provide services on a sliding scale based on your organization’s size and budget, the kinds of services rendered, travel needs, and more.
Part of our capacity-building work, Cultivate is AIDS United’s Training of Trainers, equipping people with HIV with leadership skills through cohort-based learning, mentorship, and peer networks, so they can carry the work forward in their own communities.
